2006 Vauxhall Vivaro no acceleration when starting

Car: Vauxhall Vivaro
Year: 2006
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
When i start the van it starts and runs straight away but when i put my foot on the accelerator nothing happens then suddenly it starts working after about 30 secs and then drives fine. When u stop and restart it the same problem occurs but this does not happen all the time. I checked fault codes but it says there are no faults stored and there are no lights on the dashboard. Any ideas?

Check the piston on the end of the EGR,sometimes the disc can even come off the end!
and the spindle can carbon up.
also check the small bore 6mm pipes to the MAP and solenoids, these can fill up with gunge.
Never actually seen one of these with no fault codes!!!

Because its not the EGR that is causing it to run funny, it sounds like a fueling problem, so injectors, air-fuel mixture incorrect, valves not opening at the right time, could be many things.
