2005 Vauxhall Vivaro
Car: Vauxhall Vivaro

Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
idling goes up and down and settles around 1200 then drops to 800. on acceleration the power goes momentarily in 1st and 2nd but is ok in the higher gears. there seems to be a bit of play when i push the pedal by hand before any response

No cable on this model it's what's called fly by wire so there is a throttle position sensor and it could give your symptoms, but if it did there would definitely be stored codes for a tps fault so a first stop would be a code read as there are other things that would give symilar symptoms, the air flow meter for eg.
