my van is starting to rev up to around 3000-3500 rpm for about 3-4 seconds and then dropping back down.can anyone please help me.

UNPLUG YOUR AIR FLOW METER IF IT STOPS REVING ITS FAULTY OTHER THAN THAT IT COULD BE A FAULTY egr valve hope this helps you mike
