2001 Vauxhall Vivaro clutch pedal drops occasionally

Car: Vauxhall Vivaro
Year: 2001
Variant: 1.9 diesel manual
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
sometimes while driving expecially after a long run at cruising speed. it is almost impossible to select a gear as the pedal is almost on the floor. have recently changed lower balljoint and whilst doing so the driveshaft came out and i lost a lot of oil. i was wondering if this could be anything to do with the problem as it never happened before. heres hoping.

Bad news friend, symptomatic of a clutch slave cylinder failure, and as these are inside the bell housing it's a gearbox out job,and don't forget to bleed the cyl on the bench before you fit it or it wont bleed when it's all back toghether.

I have a vivaro 2.0 CDTi

I have an issue with the break pedal dropping out slightly almost feathering like a judder

Also on the ABS light the top of the bracket is lit very slightly just in the top corner

And ideas

I have 7 days warranty left and live in Cornwall but bought it from Bolton :-/
