hi my vivaro take quite alot of turning over before it fires , i can do a 80 mile trip fine , then leave it stood for 20min and it again take alot of turning over , just had 4 new glow plugs fitted and this has not solved the problem

check battery and alternator if its a bit slow to turn over if not have a look at the fuel filter condition, could be dirty or drawing in air somewhere

Hopefully i can help. Have you tried taking out the air filter, turn the key and see if it starts. If so change the air filter ASAP. I had a similar problem with my galaxy 2000, and i changed the plugs first aswell!! Let us know.
