2009 Vauxhall Vectra juddering at fast and slow speeds

problem been happening for last 18 mnths been back 3 times to dealer who can not find the fault. the car judders at slow and fast speeds as if you are in the wrong gear when you are not, happens for about 5- 10 minutes at a time, not every trip, random the times it happens.

You dont say what size of engine , petrol / diesel in car .But anyway has the dealer carried out a diagnostic scan to see if any faults show ?Has the fault been there when car was at garage or on road test ?

the car is a diesel, 1.9 , dealer claims he has carried out diagnostic tests, only happens when driving. dealer did take out for test drive but it did not happen when he was driving, await your reply thanks clare

If the fault doesn't occur on roadtest or show on diagnostic , it's hard to fix or know where to start .You dont mention mileage of car ? Is it used for short journeys ?
