2001 Vauxhall Vectra ecu error p1635 and engine management light

Car is a Vectra 2.2 Dti Estate, When i'm driving the car the management light comes on and the car loses power, it's been to the garage a couple of times and they say there is an unrecognised error code from the ECU of P1635, Any ideas as the garage are clueless, thanks
