1998 Vauxhall Vectra dash lights not working/idle issue & running hot!!

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 1998
Variant: 2.0 CD
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi,

I have a problem with my dash lights in that when the lights are on the lights around the speedo and heater controls don't come on.

Car has had LED conversion by previous owner and I suspect its just a fuse thats blown? But can't for the life of me figure out which one it may be, any assistance appreciated.

Also have another problem thats difficult to diagnose, occasionally when pulled up in traffic the revs go up to around 1500 then drop and idle fine, i've had the IAC cleaned and replaced, have blanked off the EGR and yet it still does this - any ideas.

Car does appear to run hot sometimes too, guage will go up to 100 but doesn't ever overheat, when fans kick in or driving normally gauge sits normally - thermostat knackered, stuck? or something more serious??

Cheers

If you dont have a owners manual listing fuses , just have to check them all individually . Try cleaning throttle body .
