Can anyone help with the problem i have ?
just driving home pulled up at a junction, tried to pull away no power, engine management warning light on, a car with a spanner through it, and traction warning light on, I could still drive but stuck in 5th gear, and a lot of smoke. I took it to a garage they connected it to the laptop 10 faults found all to do with the gearbox, they cleared the faults from the car, then found they couldn’t repair the gearbox something to do with a electronic box within the automatic gearbox. I took it to Vauxhall dealer they couldn’t do anything because there is no faults showing, but the car is running good at the moment no problems since the faults cleared, any ideas? I’m worried they will return only 2 months left on extended warranty?

Possibly ecu for auto box fault, Garage should not have cleared codes without writing them down.
