2001 Vauxhall Vectra warning lightl

If it's the orange light with an engine that is the engine management system light telling you there is a fault which will mean you will need to have a Tech 2 diagnostic check carried out to find the fault .

no its not the engine management, its a large round orange light with dashes all around it, its not on the dash with all the others its on the panel under the time/date clock

Is it an automatic ?

the light warns you that your brake pads are down however dont panic you'll get about another 3000 miles before the brakes need changed .
