1999 Vauxhall Vectra trip computer

When I start the car the trip computer and mileage and such light up but the other day I was driving and switched my lights on and the computer went off as did the mileage digital display under the speedometer. Any ideas? I have recently replaced a rear tail light bulb but other than that it all works perfectly.

Not just bulbs gone ? If you look closely can you see display in background ? Have you checked if this is covered by a fuse that may have blown ?
