Dashboard tells me driver door is open although it is closed

2004 Vauxhall Vectra
Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 2004
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Hi,

My Vectra will not lock at the minute as the car is not recognising that the driver door is shut.
I have been told this is a sensor problem, however, I need to be able to lock my car until I am able to get repairs carried out.
Is there anything I can do to secure in the meantime?

Thanks
