Strange noise from engine and noise when turning steering wheel

my car engine is making very strange noises when car is idle and in motion. also every-time I turn my steering wheel it is making a very loud and strange noise.
any ideas???

Hard to say wihout more info or hearing noise , could be power steering pump .

check the power steering fluid level in the resevoir the noise is probably coming from the pump due to fliud loss from a leak either from the pump ,steering rack or pipes
