you would have to check the part numbers on ecu and see if the wiring plugs are the same

There is at least 3 diferent ecu's i.e ,
Vectra 1.8 litre (C18NZ) AUXU
Vectra 1.8 litre (C18NZ) AXRT
Vectra 1.8 litre (C18NZ) BLBF

You could end up with problems , this post from Vectra site explains ,

Ive just had a new ecu in the last fortnight....cost £412 delivered for the ecu and new key reader ready to plug and go with a 2 year warranty. The ecu has to be married up to your exact vehicle.....i think others would work, as in start the car, but dont think all the other things would work properly eg abs etc etc. I thought about going down the second hand route for mine but you dont know what your buying when getting a second hand one, how long it will last and also it would need programming to your car anyway which is why i chose new.
