have you just brought the car? we have had a number of our customers, who brought a car of the same local dealer have this problem and similar problem, the dealer selling the car was disconecting alt wire that feeds the bulb, as the diode in the alternator was faulty, and this meaning he didn't have to buy a new one. they also do it with airbag and abs lights. All off which should come on momentarly when the ignition is on.
