does any body know how i can lock the fly wheel so i can undo the centre bolt on the water pump???

the water pumps on these are held in by 3 allen bolts. it sounds like your undoing the crank pulley bolt. there should be no reason to lock the flywheel to unbolt the water pump

think he wants to remove crank pulley to gain access to timing belt

As per " LM AUTO'S " post , dont know what bolt you are referring to .Straight forward to remove water pump .
