i had a problem with my zafira,so i bought a code reader when my ems light was on,i put code reader on and it said no fault codes were stored,i put tech 2 on it and it had 2 codes stored, you need to get a tech 2 diagnosis as some generic code readers are bit hit and miss

I had the same problem, new fuel pump needed, air flow meter had bust, melted my cat which sent it down the exhaust, so needed new air flow meter, new cat and new exhaust, which as you can imagine was costly, even with friends in the trade. My advice is never buy a Vauxhall again, everyone I know personally has had problems, even from new; they are one of the poorest made cars on the road. Now I’ve fixed that problem the next has appeared, with Vauxhalls it never ends!!
