1998 Vauxhall Vectra headgasket gone again after 10 months

Variant: 2.0L sri

my headgasket went on my vectra 10months ago, i had it fixed which cost a small fortune but 10 months on im havin the same symptoms....
white smoke from exhaust, chugging, getting thru lots of water/coolent...
any chance it could be something else?? ive just paid out for a new clutch so i dont wana throw money at a lost cause but i do love my car!!
any ideas???

If you get a block test (sniff test ) it will confirm if head gasket gone or not .

it does sound like headgasket or the head might be cracked,either way its a case of confirming gasket blown with a block test and stripping down engine to investigate

the oil is clear (no mayo) but there's also alot of damp in the car, the interior fan is tempermental as well....

Depends where head gasket goes whether it mixes with oil or not . If water inside , check heater matrix is not leaking , also pollen filter .
