how do i no if 1 of my solenoid vac have gone on my vectra 2.2ls dti its the 1 right next to the water bottle for the radiotor cuz if you are close enough to it you can here it and if it is broke will that make a lot of smock come out the back

check the condition of the vacuum pipes that go to wastegate,swirlflaps and throttle as these can wear through and even brake in some cases,what colour smoke are you getting from back of car?black,white,blue?
