The fan problem is usually the resistor pack that controls the fan speeds

when the fan is on the tempreture gauge goes to 0 and when the fan is of and i am driving the tempreture is still 0 unless i am on tick over or driving slow then the gauge rises is this because of the resister any ideas please

If engine temp low , check / replace thermostat , probably jammed open .
