2004 Vauxhall Vectra wipers only work on full speed

recent snow cleared from windscreen after 5 days in airport carpark- started wipers but hadn,t unstuck nearside wiper properly from windscreen and now wipers won't operate on intermittent or first speed ( will only work on highest speed and will not return to flat position when turned off ie they get left mid screen unless you time it right)
Have checked fuses and all ok!

06 vauxhall vectra. Wipers only work at fastest speed and don't park. ?
Best Answer - common fault, wiper motor will be required, still under warranty??

gsf1200 is correct wiper motor controls the wiper speed its a common fault you need a new motor check warrenty
