1999 Vauxhall Vectra starts then cuts out

car starts, but cuts out after a second befor you could engage a gear. this happens every time you turn the key.

You dont say what engine in car ??? Possible causes could be , engine coolant temp sensor , crankshaft sensor etc . etc .
