ive just fitted a new stereo on my wifes vectra and within 20 minutes of fitting it the battery was completely flat,ive charged it up and my wife said it was ok,however she says the car took its time starting today.. is this anything to do with stereo?,have i pulled any wires out fitting stereo etc ?... thankyou..

Probably just a coincidence , if wired up correctly shouldn't affect / drain battery .Maybe your battery is on it's last legs and not retaining a charge due to weak cells .
