1999 Vauxhall Vectra coolant dump

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 1999
Variant: 2.5 V6 Sri
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
I've had my car about 11yrs and on the whole it's been a very reliable car, however after just having the rear exhaust outlet manifold repaired I now have a problem with my expansion tank.
I drive the car mostly long distance and I don't lose any coolant or the thermostat doesn't read that its overheating, but as soon as I turn off the ignition the engine stops fine, but the coolant then rises and forces its way out of the top of the exp tank. I am recharging the tank about 4 times a day.
I've had the exp tank off and checked for leaks and also checked the pipes but as far as can tell no blockages. I have also ran the car on idle with the cap off the exp tank in case of an airlock but doesn't seem to help. Any ideas!!!

Could be head gasket gone , pressurising cooling system . A sniff test (block test ) will tell if this is cause .
