Abs light on no speedo

my abs and traction contol light stays on and my speedo does not work. i have had a code reader plugged into it but there is no responce from the abs ecu the dealer says the abs unit is faulty ?? checked for power and earths at the abs plug and all seems fine. battery voltage is at 14.4 volts when its running any ideas folks ??? its ma womans car and she is nippin ma heed !!!

I think the speedo gets it signal from the NSF ABS sensor, so I would suspect that its knackered. un plug the sensor and check the ohms between the terminals, do the same with the offside one and compare the 2. if there different replace the nearside sensor

A few things cause your problem mate, 2 main ones are L/H (Pass Side) Sensor not working and ABS Ring on the CV joint, check it for Damage and Rust/Dirt buildup, clean as neccesary.
If none of the above its a hook up to Tech 2 or Opcom if you know anyone with it and Diagnose the fault from there
