1999 Vauxhall Vectra mileage light and rev limiter

when the engine warms up the rev limiter keeps bouncing from about 600- 1500 then sometimes cuts out when I dip the clutch and recently the light behind the mileage clock has gone out an only comes on every now and again does any have any solutions as the help would be great.

This should help you , remember and check panel light bulbs if you remove dash panel .

Go to , homepage.ntlworld.com/cavweb/misc/veccyclo.doc If you haven't got MS Word, it should still open with MS Wordpad. Instructions on how to get the speedo assembly out of the dash. Pay attention to the warning about the airbag light.
