2005 Vauxhall Vectra water leak

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 2005
Variant: 3.0 cdti v6
Categories: Leaks & Noises
this car has a water leak from the front of the block. there is a pipe with a housing that bolts to the left hand side on the front of the engine, to the left of this is a hole about 6mm in diameter that is leaking water. i thought this might b a channel for the waterpump if the pump goes (as the pump is intenal into the oil system) but it isnt the case. i have rang various vauxhall dealers and nobody has stripped 1 or come across this before. any help would be greatley appreciated.

check your inlet manifold gaskets are ok,there is a coolant hose in the middle of the block that splits on these engines,if you can see where the leak is coming from then try and get the part number of the pipe or take to garage for closer look

it was the water pump. when the bearing goes the water leaks past it and back up the pump into the block then out of a little hole behind the ac pump. specialist job only as i cnt time the crank up now.
