2004 Vauxhall Vectra heating air recirculate switch

Variant: 1.8 LS Hatchback Manuel
when the recirculation switch is activated there is a clicking noise coming from behind the glove box.Everything still works properly but when the switch is turned on/off it clicks for about 5 seconds then works fine.

sounds like the servo for the air recirc is sticking or broken,if you can,locate and remove the servo and make sure nothing has come loose or damaged
