Wont start turns over but that all

i have taken plugs out to see if sparking.when turn key plugs spark once then no more.if i switch key off then turn on again plugs spark once then no more spark.has any one any idea this car driving me crazy !!!!

could be 3 things here either he coils have broken down or you have a immobiliser fault or the crank angle sensor is at fault replace crank angle sensor first as this would be the first thing i would replace then go from there hope this helps

As per the first suggestion goe for the crank angle sensor first.

How can you test the above fault to determine if its an immobiliser issue? How do you reset the immobiliser?

Hi just looked at your problem. Friend had the Vectra V6 2.5 and his was the ignition coils. Apparently there not very robust.Look at the other solutions first though.Tip. Always look for the simple answer first, its not always a nightmare ! Regards Allan Hinchliffe
