2004 Vauxhall Vectra notstarting

This vehicle belongs to my Daugther. We purchased a New Battery in early January which seemed to have cured the problem of not starting. However this problem has not gone away. Having had both the STARTER MOTOR and ALTERNATOR checked, the garage could not find any fault and suggested that it could be something to do with the vehicle immobiliser that is causing the problem. Any suggestions.Many thanks

if you are still having the problem with the staring on this car have a dealer update the ecu with tech 2 on there system should help regards starting and they can also run diagnostics on the car too for you also check any earth points you can see on the car to clean the area and replace if required
