2001 Vauxhall Vectra headlights not working

Both headlights stopped working at the same time. The sidelights and full beam are fine.
The fuses and bulbs are ok. Could it be the control switch?

check earth points going to the lights but dont think that because the other lights on the car are working eliminates the bulbs for what they cost replace them and see how you go from there but wouldnt have thought the switch would be faulty
