2002 Vauxhall Vectra overheating and oil in water

hi i have oil in the water tank and no water in the oil so could this be the oil cooler or th head gasket or anything else simple to fix or just the usual big job fix the gasket i have tried to locate a oil cooler from a non vauxhall parts stores and no joy so i guess its a gunuine part only

dont jump to any conclusions have the car checked by a garage as the dti vectras have a few problems ie turbo seals head gasket oil cooler all these problems diesel pump so have it checked out to be sure you have the right part or parts replaced

have removed the oil cooler today anyone have any ideas how to check it it looks fairly new not rotten it smelt like a aerasol can when i was blowing the coolant out any ideas

jut to say i have tested te oil cooler and yes yes yes its that i tested it by filling the oil inlet laying it flat and waiting for the water to go down put red food dye in it and in the morning it was in the water section so phew its gonna be done today
