2000 Vauxhall Vectra car wont start first time

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 2000
Variant: 1.8 LS
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi i recently had my timing belt and cam/crankshaft sensor replaced , since having this done my car doesnt start first time , it usually takes 2 turns of the key to get it going , Its a strange one because it does sometimes start first time ( usually when i take it back to the garage to complain about the fault)
Does anyone have any idea as to whats causing this fault ? Do you think it could be the sensor ? or is it something else ?

If the belt and sensor have just been replaced and the car always started first time prior to this , might be worthwhile asking garage to have a quick look at work carried out or find reason why this is happening now . Take it car running o.k otherwise ? Timing set up o.k ? Garage might chase you !!!! If still bothered , get diagnostic scan . If it is only occasionally , is it worth the hassle ?

thanks for the reply , yeah it was all working fine , its happening less and less , the garage has said that the sensor might need time to get use to the other parts , Would he be right in saying that ? or is he just having me on ??
