My ecotec vectra showed a code P0505 so I changed the throttle body/idle valve with a secondhand one then changed the igntion coil with a new new one cleaned all the pipes but the problem is still there. Can anyone help. Ta

could be the crank sensor or the wiring going to the crank sensor i had a similar problem
