ABS/Traction control lights & speedo fault

sounds like vehicle speed sensor vss fault if car doesnt know its speed screws up all sorts of sensor inputs,check location of sensor some vss are on abs rings some on gearbox sensor check plugs for coroision etc.may not show up on diag computor as car prob thinks its stopped.has abs/tcs memory been read for faults? if light on fault should be logged

check the nearside front wheel sensor wiring hasnt rubbed through on the tyre

Had it checked by four different diagnostic computers...none registered a fault anywhere.Would Speed sensor affect ABS etc?Been quoted £400+ to supply and fit new ABS sensor,dont want to do that if its something else.

Daft question....but where do I find this?

the wiring for the sensors on the front wheels is attached to the suspension legs but can detach and rub against the tyres so look behind the front wheels and follow the wiring to the back of the wheels

I have the same problem and its the abs control module and pump. I have had problems getting the mot because abs light is on
