IM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE A34 2 MILES BEFORE I ENTER THE M3 MOTOR WAY I HEARD WHIZZING SOUND AND THE ENGINE ELECTRONICS INDICATOR FLASH STEADILY AND SMELL BURNING PLATE,LOTS OF SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE BONNET,
1. I'VE THE ASK AA WHY?- HE SAID HEAD GASKET BLOWN=HE FILL UP THE RADIATOR BOTTLE WITH WATER AND ASKED ME TO START THE ENGINE BUT HE SAID WHEN IM STATRTING THE ENGINE THE WATER IS BLOWING SO IT'S DEFINITELY HEAD GASKET
2. I'D FIND IT STRANGE, YESTERDAY IT WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AND JUST GOT MY EXHAUST REPLACE AT KWIK-FIT GOT HOME AND NOTHING HAPPEN
3.GOT AN IDEA HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST ME ? ANY RELIABLE MECHANIC AROUND ANDOVER AREA..

I know that bit of road quite well and i have a feeling that noise you heard was the local motox track!
Seriously: head gasket symptoms are normally: mayonaise looking stuff under the oil cap, lack of power etc etc. now obviously the AA know what they are talking about and if you keep driving it you are probably going to make it worse. why do you say the cylinder head need skimming when no-one has taken the head off yet? There could be a number of thing wrong with it but if i were you there is a good mechanic in Newbury if thast not too far away. He work for pro-bike Yamaha and does all the servicing for their car site. Ask for Nick. Good luck
