2000 Vauxhall Vectra power steering failure

Vectra suddenly lost power steering, plenty fluid, no fluid leaks, rack etc bone dry and power steering belt intact, can anyone help!

is pump turning ok if starting to seize belt can slip is pressure release valve wire still attached(terminal on pump)
