2001 Vauxhall Vectra time display lights on all the time

my time and date display lights were flashing all the time, so i decided to change the bulbs which i have done bfore with no problems and they have worked fine, however this time i did it my battery was flat the next day, so when i checked everything i noticed that the display was on even when the car was off, what can cause this and how do i fix it

im not 100% sure but could require the dealer for the ecu to be reset and have a update on the tec 2 system hope this helps
