2007 Vauxhall Vectra squeaky clutch pedal

Squeaky clutch pedal think it is coming from the spring behind the pedal I've put some silicone on it but still continues to squeak. Any help would be appreciated

Better using white lithium grease on bushes at both end of clutch spring .
