Drive shaft???

There was a humming sound and vibrations through the floor at first then it started grinding now it doesn't move just a lot of noise when put into gear just want to know how hard or easy it is to fix or time & money

Hard to understand your post .Humming noise would be more like a wheel bearing .Sounds like clutch broken up but check underneath if driveshaft spinning when put in gear , could also be knackered or splines gone .

If I'm reading your post right it's around an hours garage time plus parts,
which may be the C/V joint or the complete drive shaft.
DIY possible if you have a reasonable tool kit and a jack and stands,
Though the big nut on the centre of the driveshaft might give you some trouble.
I usually zip it off with the air gun.
