Water inside car on off side

2008 Vauxhall Vectra estate
Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 2008
Variant: estate
Categories: Leaks & Noises
water is entering the car on the drivers side and because it is parked on slope the water is running back into the rear passenger well. I know there is a drain under the pollen filter on the near side as I have had problems with this in the past is there a drain on the drivers side which could be blocked causing the water to enter the car.

As far as I know there is only the drain you mention .

Drill a hole in the floor but check where you drill.

On checking , found this though cant vouch whether true or not .Worth a look .Also check pollen filter sealing .

" On my facelift Vectra the rubber drain fits into a lip on the bulkhead--like a grommet and is quite flush--take it out and clean it--also there is another one over on the drivers side which you should also clean--its under the wiper mechanism.just lift up the edge of the scuttle panel and and you will see it. Barry,

I had exactly the same issue around 4 years ago. There is a drain that takes rain water from the windscreen and emits it past the bulkhead separating the engine from passenger compartment. This sometimes gets blocked with debris and leaves etc. Thus stopping the Water escaping and it backs up and enters the cabin.
Open the bonnet and feel under the windscreen area, almost centrally. You'll find it and just unplug the debris.

Hope this helps
