2001 Vauxhall Vectra throttle not working when stood for a while

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 2001
Variant: 1.8 sxi manual
When my car been stood for a period of time in overnight the throttle doesn't work.I have to keep pushing it down and letting it of and it eventually frees up and car fine.

Could try cleaning the throttle body .

Hi is the throttle body easy to clean and I no this may sound stupid but will I be able to locate it I'm a novice. Thankyou for your help.

If not sure probably better leaving alone but before that you could check the wiring / plug connector at accl. pedal .
