Got key to finally turn in ignition, now non of the ignition lights will come on and engine will not turn over. Am at wits end now as i live in the middle of nowhere and cannot get out!

either the battery could be totally flat or the electrical switch on the back of the lock is not being turned,sometimes the peg that turns it breaks off. the switch is easily removed just take off the steering cowling and undo the two screw that hold it to the back of the lock then try turning the switch with a flat blade screwdriver
