2008 Vauxhall Vectra central locking is not working

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 2008
Variant: 1.9 Deisel
Categories: Leaks & Noises
My Vauxhall Vectra's central locking was playing the other day, sometimes it would work, sometime it didn't. Now it doesn;t work at all. If I lock it with the key, only the drivers door locks. On the inside of the drivers door, there are two switches, one to lock and one to unlock. Niether of these switches are doing any thing. So i'm thinking its the car not the key fob. So any help with this problem would be greatfully appreciated

I would try changing battery in remote first , check handbook to see if seperate fuse for central locking . If none of those , check for any broken wires where they pass through into door at A pillar .
