2006 Vauxhall Vectra headlight, sidelight, indicator front offside intermittentley going on and off

Hi, can anyone put there finger on this please? my vectras front drivers side lights keep going on and off randomly. I have checked plug going onto bulb and that seems fine. last night i couldnt get main headlight on but got side light on, then after a bit the main headlight came on. is it an earthing prob?

it could be an earthing fault or a wiring fault within the headlamp itself

thanks for reply, ive since found the plug that goes onto the main headlight unit is faulty, it has roughly 8 wires going into it and a red slider that has to come out to release the plug. when i wiggle it headlight goes on and off, going into garage tomorrow hopefully they will sort it.
