2000 Vauxhall Vectra power cuts during during low speed driving

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 2000
Variant: 1.6 16v
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi. I was just wondering if anyone can identify with a problem I'm having with my car. It's a 2000 vauxhall vectra 1.6 16v, estate. The problem seems to be that the engine light (car with spanner light) come on and the engine cuts out when the car is slowing down or running at low speed. Some times it easily restarts but sometimes it will take about 2mins before it can be started. This happen at least twice a day and am beginning to worry that it could be a major problem. The car is fine going at speed and when you don't have to slow, but in a go slow and other busy traffic , etc.
No oil leaks, fuel pump just replaced,

Any ideas ???
