2005 Vauxhall Vectra heater fault

I have a Vauxhall vectra six 2005, I am having problems with my heater it is taking ages to expell warm air , also this is only happening once temp gauge begins to operate , I have changed heater element in the blower unit all functions are working on heater control, all top hoses are warm any ideas on what this could be ?

You checked thermostat in case it's jammed open ?
