When i leave me car over night or just when its been turned off for a while and i turn it on its very hard to get into gear and if i put it into reverse it makes a grinding noise and then eventually goes into gear. Any idea what the problem is?

Could check clutch fluid level in master cyl . but may just be general wear on clutch neccessating renewal .
