Dashboard on board comp not working
2002 Vauxhall Vectra 2.2 petrol

when starting the car everytime withinn 2mins the dashboard dials turn of and stay turned of until you restart the car again and also the mileage meter does not register. ive had it diagnosed but no luck yet ,suspected ecu problem hopefully its something more simple

similar thing happend to my corsa, first time i needed a new speedo cable, they said it was because i was using a phone charger in the cig lighter it tripped the ecu and broke whatever makes behind the dash work, ie the lights, rev counter, speedo and mile counter. and second time i needed to get the ecu fully reprogramed, cost me bout £150 but i knew the guy so dont know if that was cheap or not! hope this helpes
