2005 Vauxhall Vectra 4000 rpm won't go above eml is on

Fitted new led lights and this is when it started !! First it was break lights jammed on then tried starting it and takes a while to start. The car only goes to 4000 rpm and 110 top out which is crap for a gsi . Took it to garage camshaft sensor changed and breaklight switch . Garage seems to think its a ecu problem and I disagree

Get it scanned and see what code has triggered the light .
